Alessandro Forte
Alessandro Forte was born in Biancavilla, in the province of Catania, in 1987. He attended artistic high school, where he distinguished himself for his talent as a painter, to which he then decided to devote himself full time. He paints portraits, sacred scenes and still lifes, the majority of which are painted from life using real models. He has participated in numerous exhitibions in Italy and abroad, and his creations can be found churches and public offices throughout the Catania region. He lives and works in Paternò, where he collaborates with his fiancee Flavia Pittalà on a variety of projects, including Sicilian cart decoration.
Angelica

The decoration of this refrigerator is an homage to Angelica, the woman around whom the saga of the French paladins revolves. The most famous knights of the Carolingian cycle, Orlando and Rinaldo, are both in love with her, and their rivalry is frequently represented in Sicilian cart painting. Against the blue background of the front and side panels are two episodes involving Angelica in the company of Rinaldo and Orlando, respectively, and a scene of the two rivals challenging each other to a duel.
